About Kelly Ann
I had a goal for myself before I graduated high school - I wanted to change the world. At the time, I thought being a teacher would do that. Now I know that information comes with power. I want everyone, regardless of background or economic standing, to have as much information as possible to make the right decisions for themselves.
My proudest moment so far has been working on A Tennessee Waltz: Ray Blanton's Last Dance. We took a dive into a former governor's administration that was tied to paid pardons and murder-for-hire. The documentary earned a MidSouth Emmy award and two Edward R. Murrow awards.
Proud graduate of the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in journalism and international studies.
